Matt Cosby (b. 1981) is a photographer based in Portland, Maine. He credits his mother with his early love of photography.  “She was always snapping pictures with a plastic Pentax 35mm and I loved the feeling of looking at the photographs when she would get them back from being processed”.

Cosby earned his Professional Certificate in Photography in 2012 from Maine Media College.  He was awarded the Paul Caponigro scholarship and the Arnold Newman scholarship while attending.

Cosby is fascinated with people and their surroundings.  He uses his camera as a way to document everyday moments.
